They shouldnt have as they caused the issue. This place is clearly similar to other churn and burn dental places like Aspen, etc. Who knows if the dental tech did it correctly either? I paid a lot of money for a trained orthodontist to put that on originally, I dont think a dental tech is on the same level of expertise, but I guess Ill just have to find out at the risk of my bottom teeth?Im going to check with my insurance company to see if they charged for that process. They glued it back on, but I can now feel glue all over the back of my teeth. Thats lazy, gross, and in todays current environment, unsafe. Also, they broke off my permanent retainer. Either change your gloves or all surfaces need to have changeable plastic on them like most dentists do. You just contaminated your gloves and my month. Im really questioning the cleanliness of this place not even due to Covid.Touching multiple things including lights, screens, xray machines, handles, etc that someone else just touched (ungloved), and then proceeding to put your hands in my month didnt make me feel good.Yes, you had gloves on, the other person didnt though. Thank you so much Swish Dental you made me feel important, valued and most importantly do you listen to me I appreciate that so much in a dental office. They weren’t trying to get me to do all these different expensive dental work just gave me a plan the dentist then said “we will get to that later right now let take of of you healing and then we can move on to the next “ I loved that ! I’m on now my first crown ever and feeling great. After all was said and done I felt very comfortable with pricing and the urgency of top priority of my teeth. Very impressed, also asked if I needed anything to help me relax like a blanket or music even watching a specific show on Netflix. Upon arriving I had my daughter go with me cuz I was a little worried and they let her go back with me as well. They assured me everything was going to be okay and they completely understood. I told them from the back how I was feeling and worried I was. I decided to visit with Swish Dental and I was very apprehensive about my upcoming visit. I always felt so embarrassed and felt like people were judging me everywhere i went. I have been dreading to see the dentist since I can remember. I almost felt embarrassed going to the front desk with residue all over my mouth.Still debating of returning for more services from them after this visit. I couldn’t believe they let me walk out looking a mess. Front desk had no idea. When I got to my car, I looked at my cleaning and realized my mouth was a mess from the impressions. As I paid for my visit, I asked if there was an invoice I had to review and confirm. The team did not go over a payment plan or invoice re: my retainers. I got my impressions and the impressions left extra residue between my teeth. ![]() I didn’t mention the retainers bc I had already mentioned it at the beginning of my visit so I assumed he was aware.I reminded Fred that I wanted retainers. After the cleaning, the doctor visited me, checked me out, and called it a good visit. The cleaning went fine and I assume Fred was fairly new since he mentioned she had just moved into town not too long ago. ![]() I’m providing 3 stars for this visit because despite my gentle and thorough cleaning from my dental hygienist, Fred, there were a few things I feel could have gone a bit smoother for my personal experience.Coming in, I shared that I was interested in getting retainers because I had lost them (I had gotten bottom ones my first visit). Ill definitely be back now.-I’m a returning client due to my first great experience at Swish. Since then, I have been beaming my new grill. The dental assistant who assisted me in my retainer fittings and dental service was nice, gentle, and personable. I was compensated for a service I have been interested in a while and got scheduled a week after my review below. Ive always believed in second chances, especially when the other party is trying to make things right. After talking through my experience with one of their team members, I felt heard and taken care of. Update 4/16: Adding an extra star for the team reaching out to me to make things right about my second visit.
